Both a black headed and a red headed gouldian finch adorns this slice of basswood which has been woodburned and painted.

Front and back have both been finished with several coats of polyurethane in a satin finish. Hanger is affixed to the back so the piece can easily be hung on a wall by a single nail or screw.

A single peg extends about 2" from the bottom center, making this an appropriate piece from which to hang your hat, coat, dog leash, or what have you.

Piece measures about 7" x 11" high and is just over 1/2" thick except for where the peg makes the total thickness about 2 1/2".

A red headed gouldian finch amidst some greenery has been woodburned onto this pine placque and then painted.

Front and back have both been finished with several coats of polyurethane in a satin finish. Hanger is affixed to the back so the piece can easily be hung on a wall by a single nail or screw.

This piece can be used as a keyrack, or to

hang some necklaces, your dog leash, perhaps a belt...

use your imagination!
